Roll of Honour page 1

The Wooly, Radcliffe and what a night. Complete with new singist Paul R settling in nicely and our bass player Paul W looking ravishing in fishnets, skimpy skirt, skimpy top, gazza boobs and pretty face mask we had a great night. Thanks go out to all the guys and gals who made it such a great night as usual in the Wooly. Paul W was last seen being chased down Radcliffe High street by half a dozen pissed, hairy arsed blokes shouting 'how about a tenner for a job lot'.

Biskits are back in town.
We hit the road again with new singer Paul Regent taking over from the newly departed sweary Jon. And what a great start to his singing career. With most of the punters at the Three Pigeons pissed as Oliver Reed on his stag night (or any other night really) due to Engerland having just had their arses kicked out of the world cup on fuckin penalties again (for the 27th time in the last 16 years) by Portugal, we were determined not to let it spoil Paul losing his frontman virginity which he did with great style and ghusto.

The Printers Arms was a triumphant return to what we all do this for, great night, great people, great pub and plenty of rock n roll. A huge thankyou goes out from Biskit Towers to landlady Carol and Chariax who put the word in for us at the Printers. Can't wait to get back there again.

Royton CON Club certainly lived up to its name as one of the staff tried to short change us (with no success I hasten to add) at the end of the night (see review). We heard a few days later that the club had been in touch with another band due to play there and told them that they were'nt going to get paid, and in true "the show must go on" fashion they told em to fuck off and cancelled the gig (nice one guys). Shame really, coz its a good venue and the punters (who were brilliant to us) are a great bunch.

The Queens, Chorley and this young lady brought her pair of puppies to the gig, so to make sure they were being looked after in the correct manner Paul, who is an avid member of the RSPCA (Royal Society of Protruding Chest Admirers) gave them the once over and pronounced his verdict "Fuck me they're as tough as a couple of knee caps"

Well its a Sunday afternoon and fuck all on telly so lets go down to Ighten Leigh Social Club and make some noise, so we did and this young rocker certainly enjoyed himself with some blistering riffs on his Fender Plasticaster, nice one Nathan, see you in ten years when your a star.

Time for Biskits to do our bit for charriddy. Barlow Institute saw the outing of Transylvanian Vestwearer Jon in his new pink number complete with cream coppers helmet and 'rifle'in hand!! His wife didn't seem to bother about it at all, adding substance to the rest of Biskits suspicions.

Oh what a night, back at the Golden Cross in Ozzywood. The place was full with punters rockin an a rollin. Poor old crumpetometer ended up strewn over t'hills and far away in about a thousand pieces.

The Woolpack, Radcliffe is rapidly becoming one of our favourite venues (free beer has something to do with it). A cracking good night there last Saturday and even Steve's long lost son turned up and tried to flog Andy C some Columbian brown?

We finally got to play the Bridge in Westhoughton and it was well worth the wait. Great gig though Jon spent most of it trying to stick his tongue down various peoples throats (including Steve's)

Ho Ho Ho Little Lever WMC and Biskits were in the party mood. Jon disappeared into the toilet at half time and performed his own tribute to Robert Plant by covering 'Big Log' and then taking a photo of it? Paul did his own tribute to 'Covered in piss' from Phoenix Nights. Andy C's dad stole the limelight during the half time bingo action, then Paul and Jon decided they'd had to much to drink and got a couple of cab's home.
Back to the Lamb, one of our favourite venues and the air guitar solo's were screaming out throughout the place.

The Griffin, Newton le Willows, well what can one say. A brilliant place to play as they certainly like their rock music loud and proud. Many thanks to Andy (the resident sound engineer) and his 7.5KW in house PA system and the rest of the punters for making this such a great night.

Well what a night at the Woolpack in Radcliffe, free beer and Tommy Cooper on guitar. Tommy stepped in at the last minute as Andy B had just given birth a couple of days before (still trying to figure out what he gave birth to)

Another great Friday night gigging at the Railway. The placed was packed to the rafters with punters out for a rockin time. The brand new crumpet o'meter was put to through its paces and passed with flying colours.

Holy shit was Friday night at the Seven Stars a goodun or what? The Crumpet o'Meter is no more as it blew itself to bits trying to keep up with all the luverly ladies. Top marks to these gals (and the ones we didn't get any pictures of) for making Friday a night to remember??? More pics here

Aahh The Lamb, one of our favourite venues and sailor John was there in all his glory to greet us with his air guitar and new teef. Top marks to you John and also the guys who picked him up and chucked him around the bar (all in the best possible taste of course).

The floor at the Lamb gives way underneath Andy B as the combined weight of him and his recently acquired hernia bouncing around on a pogo stick finally proves to much.
